Johnstone's Approved Installer
Silicone Rendering
A modern, thin-coat render system that's coloured all the way through, sheds dirt in the rain and keeps a house looking fresh for years.
What it is
About silicone rendering
Silicone render is a thin-coat external finish applied over a properly prepared base. The silicone in the mix makes the surface water-repellent, so rain beads off and carries dirt with it, while still letting the wall breathe.
Because the colour runs all the way through, there's no painting to do and no flaking paint to deal with later. Simon is a Johnstone's Approved Installer, trained to apply the Johnstone's silicone render system to the manufacturer's specification.
Typically used for
- Transforming tired or dated house exteriors
- New builds and extensions
- Covering old pebble dash or failing render
- Homes in exposed or damp locations
- Matching or refreshing a property's colour
