Pebble Dashing
A classic, hard-wearing external finish. Stones or aggregate are thrown into fresh render for a durable textured wall.

What it is
About pebble dashing
Pebble dashing starts with a render base coat. While the top coat is still wet, aggregate is thrown onto it by hand so the stones bed in evenly across the wall.
The result is a tough, low-maintenance finish that copes well with the British weather. Simon also repairs and patches existing pebble dash so repairs blend in.
Typically used for
- Traditional houses and bungalows
- Repairing or matching existing pebble dash
- Exposed walls that take a lot of weather
- Garden walls and outbuildings
- Hard-wearing finishes on a budget
